Check and Double Check

I did NOT see this coming. I have to say I am still in shock. NO I AM NOT PREGGO...lol...just wanted to put that out there. Anyways, a lot has happened since last night when we met with a Bethany case worker. I'm just going to start by saying that God works in mysterious ways and does protect those that love him. I'm sure that you might have noticed that our logo has changed on this page from Bethany to Covenant Care....that's because in the last 24hrs we have switched adoption agencies. WHAT A WHIRL WIND!!!  We knew going into this process that we would have a bumpy ride and have been praying that God would lead us thru it..and boy has he opened our eyes. AND WE ARE SO GRATEFUL!! I am not going to go into all the details. However, I will say that we want to follow God's direction for us and want Him to receive the glory out of this adoption. We want to know that the Birth Mother of our child is taken care of, ministered to, and comforted with support from us and the agency. Unfortunately Bethany really let us down...but by God's provision we have hope and connections with a Wonderful Christian Agency that focuses on ministering to all birth mothers. I could not imagine giving up  a child and have so much respect for those that do for the benefit of the child. I want our Birth mother to know that she is respected and most of all I want her to know the love of GOD. So, with that said we will be filling out our pre-application ASAP for Covenant Care:)

Agency Decision....FINALLY:)

Tonight with met with the case manager from Bethany Christian Adoption Agency here in our home! It was great! She went over all the facts about who Bethany is, what they stand for, and how they can help us with our adoption. It was so comforting to hear how steadfast they are after God's heart and how they will go out of their way to help a child. I have to say I was already excited about adopting...but now I am CRAZY EXCITED! It definitley feels real to me that this is actually happening and we are going to be parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO! I kept wondering when it would feel real...and I am finally there. So..NO QUESTIONS ASKED we WILL be ADOPTING for Bethany Christian Adoption Agency. We feel so comforted working with such an amazing organization. Please check them out!.BETHANY And if you know of ANYONE who is pregnant and is considering adoption PLEASE let us know:) I doubt I get any sleep tonight...but I'm sure this will be the first of many sleepless nights for me. Preparation

Today was not a normal Sunday for us. Today we prepared our home for our appointment with our case worker Tammy. Paul just finished his finals for this semester and today was the only day we had to get dirty and whip our house into shape. We do have 3 dogs , but I think we keep our house pretty tidy considering....however when you have dogs your walls end up taking the brunt of it along with your carpet...thanks to the magnificent magic eraser and carpet shampooer our home looks brand new:) Tammy will be here tomorrow at 7 pm to talk to us about Bethany Christian Adoption
Agency. Please pray that we have clear minds and ask all the questions that we need to...also we ask that you pray that we follow God's will in choosing the right agency...thank y'all and goodnight!

The Beginning
